In a recent interview, talented Nigerian singer, John Ighodaro, who is widely known as Johnny Drille, has dismissed rumors surrounding his alleged romantic involvement with up-and-coming actress, Tomi Ojo.
The speculation surrounding their relationship gained momentum when they appeared together in the music video for his popular song, ‘Believe Me,’ which showcased scenes filled with romance.
However, any doubts about their relationship were put to rest when Johnny revealed his secret marriage to Rima Tahini, the Director of A&R at Mavin Records, on Tuesday.
During an interview with Hip TV, Johnny clarified the reports and emphasized that he and Tomi Ojo are simply good friends.
He went on to praise Tomi, describing her as an incredible and talented individual who did an outstanding job in the music video.
Johnny explained, “If you watched the ‘Believe Me’ music video, you would have noticed that there are two Ojos featured. One is Wale Ojo, and the other is Tomi Ojo. It was a clever play on words that worked well together. However, when it comes to our relationship, Tomi Ojo is an amazing person. She’s fantastic to work with and was perfect for the music video. That’s all I can say about it.”
By setting the record straight, Johnny Drille has cleared up any misconceptions surrounding his relationship with Tomi Ojo and has expressed his admiration for her professionalism and talent in the music video.
