Founder Dr. May Amamgbo has taken the brand into the baby-care space with the debut of Dudi Baby, after years of developing L’Avyanna Beauty centered on skincare for melanin-rich skin.

August 28, 2026 – L’Avyanna Beauty Group officially launched Dudi Baby, a new product line for babies and their caregivers. The launch was also a special family milestone as Dr May’s daughter Dudi also celebrated her first birthday on the same day.

Family celebration and brand expansion were combined when dignitaries, parents, business partners, customers and children attended the celebration.

“Dudi Baby is not just a baby-care product line,” Dr. May says. The company is also building Dudi World, a storytelling platform featuring original characters such as Dudi, Chika, Kofi, Nia and Puffy Cloud.

The baby-care brand will be matched with creative children’s content in the initiative, with plans for animation, storytelling and other family-focused entertainment. Its fun, cloud-inspired visual identity is targeted toward mothers, caregivers and children.

Diverse has been Dr. May’s entrepreneurial journey. A former Miss West Africa, she went on to earn a PhD in Law and work in human rights, research and advocacy before launching L’Avyanna Beauty in 2015.

Since then, the beauty brand has become known for targeted skincare products including facial and body care, vitamin C formulations and sunscreen options.

Dr May is now positioning L’Avyanna for a broader family and lifestyle market with Dudi Baby and Dudi World.
