‘I Was Offered N500m, $200k To Sleep With A Man’ – Cross
Former Big Brother Naija housemate Ikechukwu Okonkwo, better known as Cross, has claimed that he rejected offers of N500 million and $200,000 from men who allegedly wanted to have sex with him.
Cross made the revelation on X while reacting to the controversy surrounding fellow reality TV personality Whitemoney and an alleged unsolicited message he received from a man.
Whitemoney had reportedly shared details of a social media direct message in which a man referred to him as “papi” and indicated an interest in him.
The development sparked reactions among social media users, prompting Cross to defend Whitemoney against those questioning his response to the incident.
Cross argued that a man’s feminine mannerisms or personality should not automatically be interpreted as evidence that he is attracted to men.

He said individuals should not determine another person’s sexual orientation based on appearance, behaviour or what he described as feminine energy.
Speaking from personal experience, Cross claimed that he had previously received substantial financial proposals from men who allegedly wanted sexual relations with him.
According to the reality star, he was offered N500 million and $200,000 but refused the propositions.
Cross attributed his decision to the values he learned from his mother while growing up, stressing that money and material possessions could not convince him to go against those values.
He also questioned how people would react if he decided to publish some of the private messages allegedly sent to him by men.
The reality star criticised people who send inappropriate or unsolicited messages to others without considering whether their advances are welcome.
Cross said people should respect boundaries when communicating privately on social media, regardless of their personal preferences.
His comments have continued the online debate sparked by Whitemoney’s disclosure, particularly over assumptions about gender expression and sexual orientation.
Cross maintained that how a person behaves or presents himself does not necessarily reveal his sexual orientation.
