Popular Gospel Singer, Toluwanisings Is Dead
Nigerian comedian Woli Agba has urged the public to continue praying amid reports that gospel singer Toluwanisings, whose real name is Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, has died.
The singer’s reported death was announced by Pelumi Olajengbesi, convener of the Coalition of Public Interest Lawyers and Advocates (COPA), in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
Olajengbesi expressed sadness over the development and prayed for God’s mercy upon the gospel artiste. He also voiced concern about the deaths of young Nigerians.
“My God! What a life! No, Lord! We plead for Your mercy upon Toluwanisings,” he wrote.
The legal advocate further described the loss of young men and women as deeply troubling, adding that he opposed untimely deaths.
Reacting to the reports, Woli Agba shared a message encouraging people not to lose hope, saying they were still trusting God for a miracle.

“Please hold on. Please don’t conclude. We are trusting God. Please,” the comedian wrote.
At the time of filing this report, no official details had been provided about the circumstances surrounding Toluwanisings’ reported death.
The development has also drawn attention to the recent death of another Nigerian gospel musician, Joshua Acheme Edache, popularly called Nutty Josh.
Nutty Josh reportedly died after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle training accident in Abuja. The incident occurred approximately five weeks before his death.
Reports said he experienced persistent headaches and breathing difficulties following the accident. Further examinations later reportedly revealed internal injuries.
He subsequently received additional treatment and was placed in a medically induced coma.
The two reports have raised concerns among followers of Nigeria’s gospel music community, although details surrounding Toluwanisings’ case remain unclear.
