Popular TikToker Jarvis has pushed back against critics calling on her to show more respect to her husband, Peller, saying the treatment people receive often determines how they respond.

The content creator made the remarks amid recent family-related controversy, expressing frustration over repeated advice about respecting her husband.

“I don’t know why you people are teaching me what respect is. Can you people stop all this respect, respect?” Jarvis asked, insisting that respect cannot be demanded without considering how both partners treat each other.

She argued that women reflect the treatment they receive, maintaining that relationships should involve mutual respect and understanding.

“Whatever you show, that’s what we reflect back. Yes, you give to me what you ask for, and I give it back to you. It has to be reciprocal,” she said.

Jarvis further claimed that she is generally calm but can be provoked, while indicating that she did not want to continue discussing the matter.

Beyond the controversy involving Peller, the TikToker also defended her younger sister, Divine, asking social media users to stop dragging her into the situation.

According to Jarvis, Divine previously participated in their online activities but later stepped away because she was not interested in live streaming.

She disclosed that she had tried to involve her sister in other engagements, including her wedding, but acknowledged that people cannot be forced to participate in activities they do not enjoy.

“You can’t force somebody,” Jarvis stated.

She appealed to the public to direct any criticism towards her rather than her sister.

“You people can stress me, but don’t stress her,” she added, urging social media users to respect Divine’s decision to remain outside the ongoing drama.
