Davido Unfollows Radiogad Over Adeleke Criticism, Content Creator Alleges
Nigerian content creator Radiogad has claimed that Afrobeats superstar Davido contacted him privately after he released videos criticising the singer’s uncle over Nigeria’s current situation.
Radiogad disclosed this in a video in which he narrated what he described as an exchange with the music star. He also insisted that he would continue expressing his opinions about national issues despite the reactions of celebrities and other influential individuals.
According to Radiogad, he had uploaded two videos in which he expressed frustration over the state of the country and criticised Davido’s uncle. He alleged that the singer later sent him a direct message asking him to remove the videos from his platform.
The content creator said he ignored the purported message because he believed his comments were based on his concerns about Nigeria and not on political loyalty or personal interests.
“Davido quickly entered my DM. He wanted me to bring down that video, but I did not reply him. I always stand for the truth,” Radiogad stated.
He also revealed that he allegedly made a screen recording of the message to preserve what he described as evidence of the interaction.
Radiogad said the recording was important because he anticipated that some people might question the authenticity of the alleged communication or suggest that it had been created with artificial intelligence.

The social media personality further claimed that Davido unfollowed him after he failed to respond to the alleged request.
However, Radiogad maintained that the development would not affect his willingness to discuss public affairs. He argued that being followed or unfollowed by a celebrity would not determine whether he spoke about challenges facing Nigerians.
“Whether you are following me or you are not following me, I will keep standing for the truth,” he said.
He also questioned why he should be expected to remain silent about Nigeria’s problems, referring to his decision to live in the United Kingdom.
“If Nigeria good, wetin I dey do for UK? If Nigeria dey work, wetin I go do here?” he added.
The allegation has drawn attention to the intersection of celebrity influence, social media commentary and public criticism.
Davido’s alleged message and the circumstances surrounding the reported unfollow remain unverified independently.
