Actress Anita Joseph Breaks Silence on Marriage Trouble With MC Fish
Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has maintained that marriage remains a beautiful experience despite the breakdown of her relationship with her estranged husband, entertainer Fisayo Olagunju, popularly known as MC Fish.
The actress made her position known in a viral video circulating online, where her colleagues, Sarah Martins and Eriata Ese, questioned her about her failed marriage.
During the conversation, Anita clarified that she was not against marriage, dismissing suggestions that her previous relationship had changed her perception of the institution.
She recalled how some people had complained about her frequent social media posts showcasing romantic moments with MC Fish during their marriage.
According to the actress, expressing affection publicly was part of how she understood love and marriage, insisting that partners should be willing to make sacrifices and go the extra mile for each other.
Anita explained that when two people are genuinely in love, they naturally want to show care and appreciation for their partners.
During the discussion, Sarah Martins reminded her of how MC Fish reportedly cleaned her leg while they were together.

Reacting to the conversation, Anita declared that she would no longer post any man on her social media platforms.
She jokingly instructed her friends to seize her phone or take her to church if she ever returned to publicly displaying a romantic relationship.
“If you see me posting, man, come and take my phone. Carry me come church. I didn’t say don’t get married, o; some people say, Anita, you stress us with that your marriage. That’s what marriage and love are all about,” she said.
The actress added that loving someone meant being willing to do things for them wholeheartedly.
Her comments come amid renewed public attention surrounding her separation from MC Fish, who recently made allegations concerning the financial arrangements during their marriage.
MC Fish reportedly claimed that he took loans and entered into financial agreements to meet the demands of their lifestyle. He also rejected suggestions that Anita had financially supported him throughout their union.
The entertainer further alleged that the expenses associated with maintaining their lifestyle placed pressure on his finances.
The claims have added another dimension to public discussions surrounding their separation. However, the financial allegations remain claims attributed to MC Fish.
Despite the relationship breakdown, Anita’s recent remarks indicate that she continues to regard marriage positively, even as she appears determined to keep future romantic relationships away from public scrutiny.
