BBNaija Season 11 Begins as First Set of Housemates Unveiled for N160 Million Prize

Organisers of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality television show have officially introduced the first set of housemates who will compete in the 11th edition of the popular reality series, with a grand prize of ₦160 million up for grabs.

The new season features a diverse mix of contestants from different professional backgrounds, including streamers, entrepreneurs, models, pharmacists, chefs and tech professionals. Each housemate enters the competition with unique ambitions, personalities and strategies, setting the stage for what promises to be another entertaining and highly competitive season.

From contestants determined to focus solely on winning to those open to finding romance and building alliances, the first batch of housemates has already begun generating excitement among fans eager to see how the competition unfolds.

Leading the lineup is Tram, a 24-year-old streamer from Lagos State, who has made it clear that his only objective is to win the ₦160 million grand prize. Unlike many previous contestants who embraced romantic relationships as part of their strategy, Tram insists he has no interest in love or distractions during his stay in Biggie’s house. According to him, remaining focused on the competition is his biggest priority.

Another contestant, Temi Nkem, is entering the house with confidence and a carefully planned strategy. At just 21 years old, she says she intends to play the game on her own terms without being influenced by other housemates. BBNaija organisers describe her as someone with a strong personality and a clear game plan, adding that she is determined to follow her own rules throughout the competition.

Thirty-year-old Martins, a visual storyteller and model from Kogi State, is trading fashion runways for reality television. He describes himself as someone who enjoys reading people and jokingly claims his hidden talent is “reading minds.” Martins says he is looking forward to enjoying every moment in the house while remaining true to himself. Organisers also describe him as someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and is ready to make meaningful connections with fellow contestants.

Representing Delta State is Mercedes, a 26-year-old massage therapist and concierge business owner. She enters the competition with confidence and believes participating in BBNaija is another opportunity to expand her achievements rather than pursue success from scratch. According to the show’s organisers, Mercedes is not entering the house because she is desperate for wealth but because she sees the platform as another addition to her growing success.

Also joining the house is Keivo, a 27-year-old web developer from Benue State. He describes himself as a versatile individual with confidence in his abilities. While he admits he is open to finding love during the show, he says marriage is not currently on his mind. Outside his professional career, Keivo enjoys gaming, painting and drawing, hobbies he believes showcase his creative side.

Chimsom Chuka, a 27-year-old pharmacist from Anambra State, says he is prepared to enjoy every experience the BBNaija house offers. Organisers portray him as patient, humorous and calm under pressure. He hopes viewers will get to know his authentic personality while watching him navigate the challenges, tasks and relationships that come with life inside Biggie’s house.

Completing the first batch is Abi, a chef and model from Osun State, who believes her humour and lively personality will make her one of the standout contestants this season. BBNaija organisers describe her as a “certified scene-stealer,” noting that she has no intention of blending into the background. Instead, they say Abi is bringing energy, entertainment and enough charisma to keep both her fellow housemates and viewers thoroughly entertained.

With the first group of contestants now revealed, anticipation continues to build ahead of the full launch of BBNaija Season 11, as fans eagerly await the unveiling of more housemates and the beginning of the battle for the coveted ₦160 million prize.
