Enugu Air Plane Skids Off Runway at Benin Airport, No Casualties Reported
BENIN CITY – An Enugu Air aircraft on Thursday skidded off the runway while landing at Benin Airport in Edo State, prompting a temporary suspension of flight operations at the airport.
The airline confirmed the incident in a statement, describing it as a runway excursion, and assured passengers that everyone on board, including the crew, was safely evacuated without injuries or fatalities.
According to the airline, the aircraft has been secured while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established safety procedures.
