Foreign, Aviation Ministers to Lead 2026 Expatriates Business Awards
The third edition of the Expatriates Business Awards (TEBA) will hold in Abuja with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu and the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo as hosts.
The event will hold on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the Rotunda Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja as Nigeria’s foremost platform for honouring the contributions of expatriate businesses, foreign missions, international organizations and migrant communities to the country’s economic growth and development.
The Chief Host is Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu and the Host is Festus Keyamo. Special Guest of Honour shall be the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dunoma Umar Ahmed. Among those expected are the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mahmud Adam Kambari, diplomats, senior government officials, captains of industry, members of the diplomatic corps and business leaders across the international community.
Director of Award, Dr. Odunola Abayomi, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, speaking ahead of the event, described this year’s edition as a major milestone in strengthening Nigeria’s relationship with the international business community.
“The Expatriates Business Awards is now the leading platform in Nigeria to celebrate expatriate investors, foreign missions, international organisations and migrant communities whose investments, innovation and partnerships are still creating jobs, driving sustainable economic growth and promoting technology transfer,” she stated.
“This year’s edition would be larger and impactful, celebrating individuals and organisations whose dedication to Nigeria has improved investor confidence as well as bilateral and multilateral relations,” she said.

She said that TEBA has evolved to become a unique platform for economic diplomacy, a celebration of excellence and a catalyst for more foreign participation in Nigeria’s investment landscape.
Today, the Expatriates Business Awards, now a trademarked initiative, continues to be Nigeria’s most recognized platform for expatriate businesses and international stakeholders.
The ceremony will include award presentations, cultural performances, high-level networking sessions and entertainment, showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, and deepening partnerships between the country and the global business community.
Guests can expect an evening of diplomacy, celebration and meaningful engagement as government officials, diplomats, development partners and leaders from the private sector come together to celebrate excellence and deepen international cooperation, the organisers promised.
