Moyo Lawal Fires Back at Critic Over Comment About Her Past Relationship
Nollywood actress Moyo Lawal has hit back at a social media user who questioned her continued career in the entertainment industry and suggested that she was preventing younger actresses from getting opportunities.
The man reportedly made a derogatory comment about Lawal, questioning why she remained active in Nollywood and accusing her of refusing to give younger women an opportunity.
Lawal responded by challenging the motive behind the criticism and defending her appearance, career and personal choices.
The actress also referred to a past relationship while explaining her position, alleging that her former partner reacted negatively after their relationship ended.

In a lengthy response, she rejected claims about her private conduct and said her personal life should not be used to attack her.
Lawal wrote: “You are pained because I look amazing? Because I left a man who’s feeble brained could not stand losing me and tried to destroy me at a time?”
She also dismissed allegations about her sexual conduct, saying she had no connection with sleeping around.
The actress has previously been subjected to public scrutiny following the 2023 leak of an intimate video involving her.
Since the incident, Lawal has continued to push back against online attacks and attempts to shame her over matters concerning her private life.
Her latest exchange has once again drawn attention to the scrutiny celebrities face on social media.
