Reports say over hundred intending voters allegedly imported by an Accord Party member ahead of the gubernatorial election in Osun State have been arrested.

Ahead of the election, the voters were camped at the residence of one Hon Abiola Ibrahim with new Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.

A viral video clip of security operatives interrogating alleged imported voters is trending on social media.

When questioned, Abiola Ibrahim admitted that the large group of persons were camped at his residence to vote for the Accord Party in the election already kicking off.

Ibrahim is said to be a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, representing the Irewole-Isokan Constituency.

Efforts to get immediate reaction from the Osun State Police Command failed at the time of filing this report.
