Poco Lee Returns to Social Media Amid UK Sexual Assault Case
Nigerian dancer Poco Lee has made his first notable return to social media after spending weeks in custody in the United Kingdom over a sexual assault case.
The entertainer, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, posted pictures and videos on Instagram on Tuesday.
One series of photographs showed him at Cabot Square in London, where he appeared cheerful and relaxed while moving around the area. He later shared images from a restaurant and a video of himself preparing Chinese food while enjoying music.
Poco Lee captioned the post, “ODINAKA.”
His return to Instagram comes amid an ongoing legal case in the UK.
The Snaresbrook Crown Court confirmed in August 2026 that the dancer faced five charges relating to alleged sexual offences. They include two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
The alleged incidents were said to have occurred in Tower Hamlets, east London, on July 23, 2026.
Poco Lee spent several weeks in custody before being granted bail on September 11, 2026.

The court has maintained that the case remains active, contrary to claims circulating online suggesting that the complainant had withdrawn the case.
His management has consequently appealed to the public to refrain from sharing unverified information and allow the judicial process to take its course.
His next plea hearing is scheduled for February 8, 2027, with the trial expected to begin on March 8, 2027.
Before the legal controversy, Poco Lee had established himself as a recognised figure in Nigeria’s entertainment industry through dance and other creative activities.
He was born on October 21, 1996, in Orlu, Imo State, to Kenneth and Augustina Iweh. He is the third of five children and grew up in Ojo, Lagos.
His father died when Poco Lee was 10, after which his mother reportedly took responsibility for raising the five children.
The dancer attended Nigerian Navy Primary School before completing his secondary education at Command Day Secondary School. He later studied at Lagos State University.
His stage name, “Poco Lee,” dates back to his junior secondary school days. According to the dancer, classmates called him “Poco” because of his small stature, drawing from the musical phrase “poco a poco,” which means “little by little.”
He later added “Lee” to make the name more distinctive.
As the legal proceedings continue, Poco Lee’s latest social media activity marks his first public online appearance in weeks.
