Beauty Queen Chidimma Adetshina Challenges Deportation in Court After Arrest
Chidimma Adetshina, a former Miss Universe Nigeria and Miss South Africa finalist, is at the heart of an escalating legal dispute in South Africa following her recent detention for alleged immigration infractions, which rekindled the debate over her citizenship and residency status.
South African immigration officials detained Adetshina in June 2026 in the Summer Greens neighborhood of Cape Town.
