‘Everywhere Is So Cold And Quiet’: Blessing CEO Mourns Nine-Year-Old Son Bryan

Nigerian relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has expressed deep sorrow following the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan.

The grieving mother shared an emotional tribute to her late son on Instagram on Sunday, reflecting on his personality, their memories together and the pain of losing a child she described as special.

Blessing CEO disclosed that she had purchased an iPad and a bicycle she had previously promised Bryan. However, his death has left her unable to fulfil the promises as she had intended.

Remembering her son, the influencer described him as selfless, kind, bold, intelligent and outspoken, adding that his memories would remain with her wherever life takes her.

“I will keep living in denial, I miss you, bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle. You would have waited for mummy to come back,” she wrote.

She added that she would never forget his unique qualities and expressed hope that he was resting peacefully in heaven.

The bereaved mother also revealed that Bryan had once dreamt about his own death and reportedly shared the experience with his brother, Darell, her sister Precious and her father. According to her account, those who heard about the dream prayed for him, but he did not tell her about it.

Blessing CEO further described the emotional emptiness she has experienced since losing her son, saying the environment now feels cold and quiet without him.

Despite her grief, she expressed a determination to honour Bryan’s memory and live in a way that would make him proud.

“I didn’t come out excited because I lost something I couldn’t get back. I came out knowing that wherever my son is, he wants to be proud of his mother,” she said.

Her tribute has offered a glimpse into the profound pain she is experiencing as she struggles to come to terms with the loss of her child.

She concluded her message with words of love, calling Bryan her guardian angel and expressing how deeply she misses him.
