Davita Lamai has recounted how Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile obtained her phone number when their relationship was beginning, revealing that the singer was too shy to approach her directly.

Davita shared the account in the couple’s wedding film as they prepare for their wedding celebration on October 24, 2026.

According to her, Zlatan asked another person to help him get her contact instead of requesting it himself.

She described the rapper as extremely shy, adding that many people might find it difficult to believe because of his bold public personality.

“He was just to get my number. He asked somebody, like he’s very shy, like very, very. People will not believe it,” she said.
