Nollywood actress Nancy Iheme has revealed that she took a break from acting in 2026 to focus on her education and pursue a Master’s degree in Poland.

The actress disclosed this while reflecting on her personal journey and achievements in a birthday message shared on Instagram.

Iheme explained that stepping away from the entertainment industry was a deliberate decision she made at the beginning of the year as part of her plans for academic advancement and personal development.

According to the actress, taking a temporary break from something she loves was not an easy decision, but she considered it necessary to create room for growth and pursue a new chapter in her life.

“2026 has been a very significant year for me. One of the biggest things I promised myself this year was to take a break from acting and pursue my Master’s degree in Poland. And today, I can proudly say I’m doing it,” she said.
