Iyabo Ojo Breaks Silence on Family Dispute, Says She Has No Regrets
Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to the constant attacks on her family online. The actress blamed the attacks on her activism and stated that she has “no regrets”.
The actress issued a lengthy statement on Instagram on Wednesday urging members of the public to ask for evidence from anyone making allegations against others before falling for unsubstantiated claims.
“The burden of proof is on the person who alleges. No one is exempt from the law. Do not be fooled. “The law and justice will take their course,” she wrote.
Ojo also warned against what she called online manipulation, urging social media users to critically examine claims made by persons who say they have evidence without making it available for public verification.
It’s 2026. Please do not believe any one that comes online to manipulate adults like you… “Just saying I have proof, I have evidence without ever showing or posting the evidence for you to verify for yourself,” she said.
The actress explained that activism has always been an important part of her life and her public persona has never been just about acting and entertainment.
“I have never been just a regular actress or celebrity,” Ojo said, noting that her activism has been front and center in her public life.
Despite criticism and attacks on her and her family online, she insisted she had no regrets over her activism.

“I have NO REGRETS. I repeat, I have NO regrets helping and fighting for those I fought for. I wish I could do it again. “I just don’t put it on social media anymore,” she said.
“These guys are doing all these things they call attacks just because I’m an activist. And I don’t regret anything because I have taken the right path.”
The actress attributed her faith as the basis of her resilience: “1 with God is a majority and my confidence is solid in Him. No one is bigger than God so no one can change my story or my kids’ story. However they scheme, curse, slander, manipulate, twist and bark. “This is the family God chose for me and my family.”
Iyabo said her family is still blessed and progressive, addressing concerned supporters on the criticism.
“Please be at peace to all those- our amazing fans and loved ones who are truly worried- God is in charge. His blessings in our lives are a testament to His grace, greatness, celebration and protection. We will not stop moving forward and my family and I will not stop moving forward in the image and glory of God.”
She also rejected claims she posts false information online: Let me be crystal clear: There is NO WAY — I repeat, NO WAY — we would ever put something fake on social media. It’s a public warning. If you are in denial you can take the test. Know this. And know the peace.
