Lady Accuses Reekado Banks’ Management of Failing to Honour Promise

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to raise concerns over an alleged compensation promise made to her after she appeared on stage with singer Reekado Banks during a performance.

In a video making the rounds online, the woman recounted how she ended up dancing with the artiste on stage. She said that after the performance, she was preparing to leave when a member of Reekado Banks’ management team approached her.

According to her, the team member told her that she would be compensated for taking part in the performance.

The woman explained that she had not requested any payment and was not expecting compensation before the offer was made. She said the manager exchanged contact details with her and she subsequently sent a message introducing herself.

However, she alleged that there was no further response from the manager.

She said the situation became more confusing several days later when another individual contacted her, claiming to be part of Reekado Banks’ team and asking whether she had received the promised payment.

The woman said she contacted the original manager to establish whether the second individual was genuinely associated with the team.

She claimed that the manager asked her to provide a screenshot of their conversation, which she sent. According to her, the manager then stopped responding.

She added that she followed up days later but still received no response or explanation concerning the alleged compensation.

The woman stressed that her complaint was not about the amount of money involved.

She said she would not have expected payment if the team had not offered it, but argued that a promise made to someone should either be honoured or clearly communicated if circumstances change.

Reekado Banks and his management had not publicly addressed the allegation as of the time of filing this report.
