BBNaija Cross Alleges Beggar Robbed Him in Lagos, Says Nigeria Is Unsafe
BBNaija star Cross Okonkwo has spoken out after he alleged that a street beggar stole an item from his car in Ikate, Lekki, Lagos.
The reality television personality disclosed the incident in a video posted on social media, expressing shock and frustration over what he described as a robbery.
Cross said he was in his vehicle when several beggars approached him and stood around his car window. He explained that he did not reject their approach, but one of them allegedly used the opportunity to reach inside his vehicle and take something.

He said the individual immediately ran away after allegedly taking the item.
Cross recounted that he pursued the suspect but could not apprehend him because the man was able to escape quickly.
Reacting to the incident, the BBNaija star questioned the presence of street beggars in parts of Lagos and expressed concern about the security implications.
“Nigeria is not safe,” Cross said while addressing the situation.
He also questioned the government over what he described as the continued presence of people begging on the streets.
The reality star’s comments have drawn attention to concerns surrounding street crime, public safety and the challenges associated with roadside begging in major Nigerian cities.
