‘I Was in Coma for Months’ – Sikiratu Sindodo Recounts Near-Death Experience
Nollywood actress Tayo Odueke, popularly known as Sikiratu Sindodo, has opened up on a serious illness that nearly took her life and left her in a coma after months of health problems.
It was said that the Yoruba actress disclosed the experience during an interview with Oyinmomo TV, saying the sickness started with symptoms that looked like malaria and typhoid.
What at first appeared to be a common illness, however, later became much more serious as her health continued to deteriorate.
“Doctors tried to figure out what was going on with me and tried to treat me from hospital to hospital,” the actress said.

The illness lasted for months and finally got so bad she lost consciousness and went into a coma.
Her family was then allegedly told that her chances of survival were uncertain.
At one point, her mother was told to go home because doctors were not sure the actress would make it.
She said “I was sick like someone who had malaria. Malaria/typhoid, that was it, and that was the way it started gradually. From one Hospital to the next. I don’t know how long it went on. I think it was months because I was in a coma and given a 50/50 chance. “They even sent my mom home. God answered many prayers in my life. Because I don’t want to be emotional. God has been faithful.
